Effective for 2027 Tax Season Enrollment

1. License Grant & Software Access

GetSmart Tax Pro grants commercial tax preparers software access for the 2027 tax season (tax year 2026 tax returns). Access is licensed on a non-exclusive basis and is subject to valid IRS electronic filing authorization and compliance.

2. EFIN Compliance & Regulatory Responsibility

The subscriber acknowledges that GetSmart Tax Pro does not sell, lease, or rent IRS Electronic Filing Identification Numbers (EFINs). The preparer is solely responsible for ensuring their office maintains lawful IRS e-file status under Circular 230 and IRS Publication 3112.

3. Free Software Qualification Terms

Free tax software qualification is an eligibility application, not a contract guarantee. Verification requires official 2025 bank-product reports demonstrating at least 50 bank-product applications.
